KOOKI TWO BIT - Return to Sender

Kooki Two Bit are an example of Cardiff's coolest creativies. They run numerous fashion events within Cardiff, delivering a unique shopping experience and a new way of thinking towards fashion, focusing on style recycling, street fashion and vintage. Their events are always unique and fun. Buffalo Boutique is one of the events that has been running for a while and one that we love here at MUD. Kooki Two Bit also have their own clothing line that is stocked at vintage store Looby Loos in Cardiff's High Street Arcade. Kooki Two Bit's latest fashion venture was a the 'Return to Sender' T-Shirt exhibition that took place at Buffalo Bar this week. MUD went along to see what it was all about...

'The 'RETURN TO SENDER - CUSTOM T-SHIRT SHOW' aims to highlight the talent of graphic designers, custom and illustrative artists, using the platform of a blank t-shirt that will arrive at their doors by post.'  -KTB

The show was a collaboration with weekly clubnight SIGNATURE (which mixes forward thinking music with experimental fashion, cocktails and art) and was a display of t-shirts designed by creatives from Cardiff and surrounding areas. The show boasted examples from independent brands such as GOD MACHINE X MRS GOD MACHINE, ORIGINAL SIN, DUTTY GIRL STORE BRISTOL, JUSTX LONDON, LEE SLEEPS, R1PE, ED AND FLO and many more. Participants were encouraged to be as creative as they wish, we saw many different approaches to this task with hand-drawn examples, attatched detailing, deconstructed t-shirts, printed ones etc.

See below, some of our favourite T-Shirts.
